Elias grew up in a hut in the Ötztal where his parents fed walkers for thirty summers. He's guided in the Alps, Patagonia and the Himalaya, and has led every Mountain Trek & Sauna since we started running it in 2018.
He sets the pace by the slowest walker, knows the name of every hut keeper on the route, and runs the evening sauna like a quiet ceremony.
